We aim to deliver high quality, rigorous and robust apprenticeship end-point assessment services to the energy and utilities sector and adjacent industries. Our service is governed through a Governing Body and has a range of Sector Assessment and Assurance Panels.
Governing Body and Assessment and Assurance Panels
The Governing Body and Sector Assessment and Assurance Panels are comprised of employer representatives and technical experts at the cutting edge of industry innovation and delivery.
The Governing Body is responsible for the overall governance of the Energy & Utilities Independent Assessment Service, ensuring compliance with the External Quality Assurance authority for specific standards. The Governing Body reports to the Energy & Utility Skills Board.
Currently there are three Sector Assessment and Assurance Panels for Power, Gas and Water. The panels are responsible for:
- Maintenance and delivery of high quality end-point assessment services. This includes the approval of guidance, end-point assessment tools, and review approved assessors and/or technical experts in respect of their occupational competency, continuous professional development and independence.
- Moderation and standardisation of end-point assessments outcomes specific to the standards the Panel is responsible for.
- Identification and resolution of risk and conflict of interest, and reporting any malpractice or maladministration to the Governing Body.
